Mobile Hearing Testing
Mobile Hearing Testing
Effective delivery of mobile hearing testing.
Lost production time can be critical to your organization. Our state-of-the-art mobile hearing testing units have a capacity of 6 simultaneous tests every 15 minutes. This minimizes employee downtime resulting in a cost-effective delivery of this core service. Hearing testing is the only way to monitor the effectiveness of your hearing protection program. These hearing tests can spot noise-induced and other types of hearing loss long before the patient becomes aware of it, ensuring that corrective follow-up action can be taken at the earliest possible stage. The tests can also help identify possible cases of non-compliance with regards to hearing safety protocols. For these reasons, hearing testing should be conducted on an annual basis.
Our State-of-the-Art Mobile Hearing Testing Units Combine Quality and Efficiency.
Our unique mobile hearing testing trucks combine the quality of individual testing with the efficiency of testing 6 people simultaneously. Mobile hearing testing units feature:
- Freightbody trucks
- The comfort of a fully heated and air-conditioned office quality interior
- 6 individual, clinical grade audio booths with microprocessor controlled audiometers
- 24/7 availability
Hearing tests are conducted by Certified Audiometric Technicians.
In addition to ongoing training refreshers, our certified audiometric technicians also receive annual truck driver training and CPR/First Aid training. And through the use of wireless internet, they can provide your plant coordinator with instant, ongoing updates including attendance lists, missed appointments, and other vital information on the status of the hearing testing.
Comprehensive reports and follow-up consultation
Each of your employees will receive a personalized letter outlining their hearing testing results and recommendations for preserving their hearing at home and on the job. Management is provided with a comprehensive plant summary report that enables them to spot problem departments, track trends, and achieve targets for success. A senior program consultant will provide a follow-up consultation call to review your report with you, offer solutions to issues, and discuss any questions you may have. We have helped develop highly effective mobile hearing testing programs for thousands of businesses and government organizations across Canada.
