Driver, Pilot, and Executive Medical Exams
Driver Medical Exams: Workplace Medical conducts fitness for duty medical examinations for A, B, and AZ licenses. We perform trucking medicals for renewal or new licenses for drivers travelling to the United States and throughout Canada.
Pilot Medical Exams: Workplace Medical is able to conduct Commercial and Recreational aviation medical examinations from our Wilson Medical Clinic in Hamilton. Our occupational health physicians, Dr. Mastrangelo, Dr. Karpilow, and Dr. Jones are certified as Civil Aviation Medical Examiners (CAME) under Transport Canada.
Executive Medical Exams: Executive Medical Examinations are a part of a personalized, voluntary program to improve health awareness, promote wellness and prevent early disease. All confidential results and feedback are given to the employee which they can then bring to their family doctor at the next visit. The examination includes a review of medical history, a physical examination and can include ECG testing, audiogram screening, vision screening and a pulmonary function test (PFT), which can help screen for asthma, emphysema and other obstructive lung disorders. The examinations can also include laboratory testing to screen for specific diseases as well as x-rays, ultrasounds, and bone mineral testing.
